I'm about to have that feeling later this month. I can't wait to make that final payment. Beautiful feeling and then you can use that money towards other things like savings, investing or clearing up other debts.

Will never buy a car with cash again unless the rates are sky high. Did it for my first car and will never again. Just finished the loan on the wifes Lexus RX 350 in January and as a matter of fact just got a loan on a new Audi Q7 Prestige to start the new year. 48 months 1.5% at a local credit union. 60k car loan LOL.

Good on you.

Pretend you still have to make a car payment and put at least half of your previous payment amount into savings. I did that with my student loans.
