I be watching all sorts of old flicks on my TV and the thing with these news TVs is that you can see everything so clearly that when it's a stunt double, it's clear as day. In some cases, it's funny.


Over dinner last night, I was telling my wife about a movement in Hollywood where people are trying to lobby the Academy to create a category for stunt doubles.


She was like "they probably don't want to give them props because it will take away from the stars like Tom Cruise and such. People will end up asking 'why not just make the stunt double the lead?'"
