Also, a 1% death rate = 3,400,000 deaths based on a population of 340,000,000.

Also, the deaths not attributable to COVID weren't counted as COVID deaths. That's a misrepresentation that's been floating around for 3 years. The data on excess deaths shows the count to be underreported....

Why do you talk like 99% is a high survival rate? Most of the nastiest tropical diseases we worry about going to foreign countries (malaria, dengue fever, etc.) have a 99% or higher survival rate. Doesn't mean people are idiots treating them like a flu (which has a 99.99% survival rate, which is a HUGE difference).

If all Americans caught Covid that first year and 1% died, that's 3.2 million deaths. Not to mention tens of millions hospitalized and our entire medical system shut down. That's the sort of apocalyptic scenario that hasn't been seen in any of our lifetimes.

The fact that people masked up, socially distanced, and then eventually vaccinated is the only thing that kept that system from going to hell.


Not to mention that even WITH masks and vaccines, we had so many idiots like yourself pushing misinformation that our hospitals were overloaded, staff got burned out and quit, and we now have a massive shortage as a result. My sister's a P.A. and she says it still sucks due to the difficulty in staffing.

Second, every single serious study has shown that there were MORE actual deaths than measured, not fewer. The excess deaths during that time period outpaced counted deaths by hundreds of thousands and perfectly matched epidemic peaks.
