You're probably dealing with immigrants and not Chicanos (Mexican Americans).

No different than any other group of people who migrate to this country.

You have the ones who stay close to the culture of their country, and others who blend their culture with American culture.

In Cali, you'll see an older Mexican who doesn't speak English and his son walking and talking like Tekashi69 or Mexican OT.

See it all the time & the son has noo black friends he hangs around but u would swear he was raised by blacks

It's crazy because growing up, So cal Mexicans weren't like that.

They were still on that dikkies, flannel, Pendleton jacket style.

Mexicans and blacks get along better in Nor Cal so it was common to see a Mexican with black swagger in the 2000's up there.

Now it seems like even the southern Mexicans are getting their style and swagger from black people.
