Not really into Family Guy so I couldn't tell you if there are similarities. The theater was packed and people were clapping and laughing throughout. Wahlberg was excellent. There are plenty of moments.

it is walking, talking, teddy bear that smokes, drinks, and fukks. It's no different then a walking talking dog and a walking talking baby

The movie was funny as hell

Seeing the Family Guy voice cast make cameos was a nice touch too..
