i'm not going to front hyundia/kia improved the look of their cars a lot, but i've had a bad experience with kia. i had a 2009 kia optima and that shyt gave me all sorts of problems.

I bought my 2011 sonata with the new body, right when it dropped, and I havent had a problem yet. Plus I got that 10 year warranty, so any problem during this time the dealership handles that
But i'm surprised the 2009 optima was giving you problems. I thought by that time kia's cars were supposed to be pretty reliable

Yeah it shyt the bed on me at 70k miles. It was well maintained, regular oil and fluid changes. i had one year left on my car note and then my car just went to shyt. for some reason a brand new battery died on me and i ended up replacing it. not even 3 days after that my car would suddenly cut off whenever i made a stop. took it back to the shop and they said the there was too much carbon built up. i had it for a week before it started cutting off again. took it back again and had them cleaned the engine and replaced a sensor for free. it happened one time and then i was like" i don't want this car no more." got it back and paid it off then i promptly traded it in for $6k. ended up getting 2012 passat going for $12k before taxes with 12k miles.

the optima honestly is one of the best looking front ends IMO, luxury or not.

i fux with hyundia/kia, but no they dont look better than audis/bmw YET. they are great bang for your buck though.

Every time I see an Optima in white or blue, I cause that's a good looking ass car.

well i used my wife's employee discount with autonation but that only knocked off $500. it's certified pre-owned, clean car fax, and i took it to a vw dealership for an inspection and everything was good. traded in the kia two days later with no regrets.

oh i know breh....when i was researching and doing price comparisons the closest i found in that price range was passat's with 35-40k mileage or 2013 jetta's with 40k mileage. i on the kia and i left the dealership in the passat like

Why did Hyundai make the Equis? They already have the genesis sedan for their luxury flagship. Does the Equis even sell? I think it would have made more sense if they made their own luxury line.

In South Korea, almost every car on the road is a Hyundai or Kia. The upper echelon there ride around in the Equis...the company probably figured since they already have the design of the car, why not sell it to the biggest auto market in the world?
