Why did Hyundai make the Equis? They already have the genesis sedan for their luxury flagship. Does the Equis even sell? I think it would have made more sense if they made their own luxury line.
The Equus is much more luxurious than the genesis.

Hyundai can't even rely on their name recognition. That's why they have to come up with this 
names for the cars. Genisis, Sonata, Equus. Exotic ass names for their cars because they know most people aint gonna cop off the name Hyundai alone. I give them credit for going the extra mile though.

I got the current gen sonata, and I actually like the design more than the new one coming out. To me its sleeker which is something I look for in cars, plus i prefer the interior over the new one.
I'll def wont put it against an audi though
But keeping it real BMW style is not really all that, (outside of the M series, especially the M6. )
I feel most cats buy bmw for the driving experience and the name brand, rather than the looks

the optima honestly is one of the best looking front ends IMO, luxury or not.
i fux with hyundia/kia, but no they dont look better than audis/bmw YET. they are great bang for your buck though.

i'm not going to front hyundia/kia improved the look of their cars a lot, but
i've had a bad experience with kia. i had a 2009 kia optima and that shyt gave me all sorts of problems.

really? i have a 2009 optima with almost 100k miles on it and have had no issues at all.
Hyundai needs a luxury brand like Lexus and Infiniti.

nah they don't.
they tried to separate their flagship car with a self recognizable logo for the Genesis. but it still carries the Hyundai name, I doubt it'd make much sense, people would still always think "Hyundai" in the back of their heads.
when you drive a Toyota and a Lexus, you can feel the difference. not to say that Toyota is garbage, because you can still get a decked out Land Cruiser for well over $80k for Lexus quality, but you know what I mean.

they're gonna need a team to actually make a car that drives luxurious like they would claim.
and they need a designer that'll bring original designs people want to be seen in rather than copying from other car makers.
