The "problem" with Obama is that he looks at situations, thinks about the possible outcomes and roadblocks, then tries to present a solution that has a chance at being enacted. Angry people on the left dont want a middle of the road solution that has a chance to pass, they want to see the no chance in hell to be enacted position be presented and then shot down, leaving absolutely nothing accomplished.

I respect Obama and what he went through during and after his presidency. The angry left is NEVER going to get a president they can be happy with because the job inherently forces you to do unpopular things without being 100% transparent on why you are doing so. For example no successful president will be able to leave office without being eventually seen as a war criminal. Just wont happen.
nikkas want to stop being killed by the police. You're pointing out the problem - basic good-sense policy is considered "impossible to pass" especially with the clowns y'all put into office.

It's pretty easy to not be seen as a war criminal - don't commit war crimes. Obama ramped up violence in Africa and the Middle East for no good reason when there was no popular support for it. :dead:

Obama is right If the language didn't come off as "negative" to some people that need things explained to them, there would've been a blue wave instead of Dems losing House seats and needing a runoff to take control of the Senate.

There was never going to be a blue wave.
Trump advocated policies that exacerbated an international pandemic with 200k dead Americans on his hand and didn't slide in the polls.
He got impeached, and didn't slide in the polls.
He actively supported white supremacists and neo-Nazis and didn't slide in the polls.
Paid off hookers, and didn't slide in the polls.
Antagonized international allies for years on end, and didn't slide in the polls.

Exactly where was this "blue wave" going to come from?

I understand, but it's one think to think about and it's one thing to experience. I'm don't think Obama is a c00n or anything like that but there are times where not having that experience has hamstrung him in regards to the way he has handled race as President.

Obama is simply a black elitist, and depending on where you stand, some people would say being a black elitist is inherehently some c00ning involved. Ironically Henry Louis Gates is also a black elitist, and probably only went at that cop like that because he considered the cop "the help" and he was a special elite negro. The devils in the details, and Obama is basically telling you that Henry Louis Gates is a jerk, and from what I've heard and read about the man I could see that being the case. Now even in the ranks of black elitist like Obama and Gates. You will have black elitist like Obama who think somebody like Henry Louis Gates is too confrontational, and talks too much about race. So even in that circle there are different ideologies. During the Reconstruction Era,the war of all these different ideologies were more out in the open and debated. Which allowed you to get a real window into the minds of people who think like Obama and a Louis Gates. Black elitist are "educated",wealthier blacks who have identified themselves as magical, who now think poor uneducated black people are holding them down, and make them(blacks) look bad. They can either be of the mindset that they want to encourage black people to lift ourselves up by our bootstraps like they did,and just be agreeable and not worry about race. Or they can be more on the Hitler side of the game where they want no associating with poor under educated blacks, and wish they didn't exist because they are embarrased by them,or want to remain the lone magical negroes. I do think Obama falls in line more with the first description. But give it time, these black elitist typically become full blown Europeans.

Funny thing is that the coli is 90% black elitist who look down on poor/under educated blacks. They are just in that more confrontational category like Henry Louis Gates, and not afraid to talk race. But when they talk about black people, know they are not talking about all blacks. They are talking about "The talented tenth". Now is that c00ning? or ideology that the educated need to leave the rest behind and let the dead bury the dead.

I have a similar mindframe, except I don't base the "dead" on whos wealthy,or who has degrees from the white man:martin:. But I personally have no real issue with Obama, any more than I have with your typical coli poster who shares some of the same ideologies in a different ,slightly less agreeable package.

it’s a snappy slogan that’s gonna make the rich moderates in the suburban class uncomfortable.
Revolutions don’t wait on making folks comfortable. Stop internalizing Barry babble and think critically...did cozying up to, making Rethugs comfortable help switch up their tune concerning Barry? No! “Defund the police” gained organic traction because working class folks been standing at a precipice for the longest. It was born out of frustration, fukk making racists comfortable. Barry wasn’t able to make them comfortable, they hated his black skin. He didn’t care though, he was determined to kiss ass and mediate when it doesn’t (won’t ever!) work. Appeal to your base and keep it movin, what else we got to lose? They’re already killing us

Literally polling shows Black Americans are against “defunding the police”, and actually want more policing. I dislike Obama but saying you want to defund police is bad messaging.
A movement isn’t supposed to set out to make you comfortable, I’m sure as hell when we were asking for our civil rights , they were extremely comfortable. :mjpls:Don’t get me started on abolishing slavery , they took that really well

He's right though

Cacs hear 'defund the police' and panic.

They panic about everything.

They heard, “abolish slavery” they panicked.
They heard, “give black people the right to vote” they panicked.
They heard, “Desegregate the Schools” they panicked.

They panic over everything. Who cares.
