Obama is a neoliberal white supremacist with a tan. That text could have been written by a white man and no one would blink an eye. And, is it just me or is this guy a terrible writer? His writing is hollow and unmoving, a reflection of a juvenile insight akin to the output of a freshman in college rather than a former president. I would even argue the excerpts I’ve read look as if they weren’t written by the same man who authored ‘Dreams From My Father,’ which I did end up reading during the period when almost all of us were under his spell.
The writing style is exactly like dreams, but this book offers no real insight on what it is like to be president other that Obama is a careerist. I think he actually thinks his supporters are naive and don't really realize how intractable their situations are in this country. He never believed in any of that hope and change he was running on.
