That smark crowd's reaction to RAW main event was the reason Vince don't give fans what they want

The word 'smark' is outdated. These are not smark marks. They're hypebeasts. 20 or 15 years ago, maybe even 10 years ago...the word meant u knew more about the product than the average fan and critiqued it accordingly. Now its just a group of fans riding waves. They hate Roman because its cool to hate Roman. They love The Revival because their internet friends like The Revival, they dikkride heels because it makes them feel cool and subversive etc.

That's all the Raw after Mania has become. A fashion show, but replace clothes with chants. I understand why a jaded young fan might be attracted to that and WWE in so many ways created these fans themselves...but to me its off-putting. I miss when fans cared about the story and responded from the gut. Now its just a social gathering with less attractive women and no drugs. Lame in my opinion.

My only real problems with crowds is when they act with no class. WWE brings in a lot of children to their events and seeing explicit chants and death threat chants are unacceptable and down right embarrassing as a fan of the product.

Booing is more than enough. fukk you chants or Die Roman Die chants is just unnecessary.

They boo Cena cause he's been the same stale/bland face character for the past 10 years and to anyone under the age of 12 it's beyond cringey.
They boo Goldberg cause he's a 50 year old who came back after 12 years and squashed people and won the title heading into Mania.
And they cheer Miz cause he's been cutting money promos and for the last year or so he's been consistently one of the best parts about the E.

They didn't get booker or rvd as top faces from 2002-05 when they could have, they didn't get Christian as a top name in 2005 when they could have (he got booked so badly he left entirely), Rey got booked like shyt when he was near the top of the card in 2006, there was no new name the crowd could get behind as a top face from 2007-10 except Jeff hardy who then left, they buried Christian and Ryder in 2011-12 when they got over, then they sabotaged punk and bryan from 2011-14 as best they could until punk left and bryan had to retire, they buried cesaro as deep as they could, rusev got the shovel several times over, tossed Ambrose and ziggler and Wyatt in the bushes when they were hot repeatedly, and now AJ and KO go on in the first 2-3 matches of the night so that cena and Roman only can be protected and presented as the "chosen favorites" of the crowd. If this were 1995-2001, all these people would've been watching nitro by now instead

No doubt, but here's the thing. Raw could do a 2.1 and it'll still be on USA next year. These MFs who allegedly dislike the product so much might not watch every Monday but they pour $$$ into Mania every year. And ultimately, Vince doesn't put Nielsen ratings in his bank account. It's the epitome of "see you next Monday". Vince probably like "see you next Mania weekend, pals!"

Vince can easily take control and STOP SIGNING THESE GUYS. End the global talent raid. Develop your own guys from entertainment, American sports, etc. like you used to. A big problem is that they're letting these indy guys come here with their indy personas in tact so the smart fans are already over invested in them despite where they are in the pecking order of WWE.

Due to the smarks and chants I fully expect them to get the belts on Revival within 3 months and Nakamura will be in the WWE title picture just as fast as well. It's all about feeding these smarks who buy their network month after month. But if you don't want your shows hijacked and your talent heckled for no reason, simply don't sign these guys.

Yes, more Wade Barrett, Jack Swagger, Ted Dibiase jr FCW guys that no one made noise for or spent money to see. You wrote in all caps like you were making a good point too lmao, WWE set an all time revenue record in 2016 and will break that record in 2017 because WWE is an all things for all wrestling fans one stop shop now. They have the resources and air time to cater to every wrestling fan and make sure no one else gains footing. Fire Nakamura, Balor, Bryan, AJ, and all the smark favs, you think they're gonna die dumb fukk? Maybe Sinclair puts more $ into ROH and now we have a new war.
