Very simple actually. Just like how producers speed up those soul samples. Its just as easy to SLOW songs down as well in your fruityloops or music software.

Heres another example of how timbo and his team chop up samples. I SAY TEAM because there is no way ONE man has the time to listen to old records and chop them up like that.

Fabolous - right now and later on
Fabolous - Right Now and Later On - YouTube

Here are two songs by "The Meters" funk album from 1974

Check the drums used in the fabolous song which have been sped up
The Meters - Jungle Man - YouTube

Now listen to the VERY FIRST GUITAR LICK in this song.
The Meters - Just Kissed My Baby - YouTube

And listen to the FAB song again. Voila.

If i was a bloodsucking vampire I would contact some music lawyers and go haywire against timbo. But i have love and respect for the art so I would never do that

i didnt literally mean how i meant how the fukk does someone think of that. shyt was 2 seconds of an african congo music turned into rollout :mindblown:

but i respect anyone who can flip samples like that and make such beautiful music. i know i could never do it. like that one u just posted, i prolly couldnt even re-do it
