he only released 2 singles before I Get Money which did ok but weren't super smashes he was looking for.

Amusement Park & Straight To The Bank both charted and did decent.

I Get Money peaked at number 20, and was getting all types of play. Straight To The Bank was at #32 and was getting minimal play. Amusement Park didn’t even chart, what are you talking about:mjlol: ?? BET had that massive Access Granted buildup special where both Straight To The Bank and Amusement Park premiered back to back, and after all that hype, it failed like crazy. I actually remember this in real time. 50 truly lucked out with I Get Money, that isn’t revisionist history at all.

Man Amusement part was wack as fukk... Straight to the Bank was surprisingly a brick considering Dre did the beat.... That experimental period 50 was doing was weird to say to least

Follow My Lead was dope, Ty Fyffe did Straight To The Bank, Dre just mixed it.

This the same time when Yayo was dissing Ghostface on radio, and Fif was legit :whoa:

The same time Jim Judas Jones backstabbed Cam and joined him on stage?

Nah he not completely wrong.. he had the I Get it In single that bricked, Come and Go single with Dre and one more they released before Straight to the Bank got the ball rolling

How is it rewriting history? Amusement Park was TRASH. Listen to this beat by itself, it's fukkin' fire.

Now this is 50's lane, built to make smashes like this.. But he just didn't pull it off. The hook is a struggle fr. Disco Inferno on Massacre another huge miss for a mainstream single attempt.

Any numbers Amusement Park and Straight to the Bank did was off his buzz still beiing high at the time. Had those lead-off joints been better, followed up with the insane I Get Money, he definitely would have smashed Kanye in that album sales war...

I remember when both those joints came out, everyone thought they were mid, and lots of people called Amusement Park annoying.

I doubt anyone but Stans are listening to either of those songs in the past decade...
