Basically they'll keep putting someone out there to be the punching bag until they get voted out in a general election. They've screwed so many things up that the next administration will be focused on fixing the problems they caused and as an opposition party they'll campaign on the labor govt being 'ineffective' hoping the country has collective amnesia.
