im not sure if you admire this or not, but from your comments it seems that you do. If I’m wrong than no disrespect—but again black people in this country have a completely different experience. Our rights are often infringed on. And when we speak out or try to do something about it we don’t receive the same treatment. Of course she can do what she did to make a point, she knows it wouldn’t cost her, her life. We don’t have the assurance.
We don’t get the benefit of the doubt.
And quite frankly this is a case where EVERYONE has been impacted and it’s for a reason:to keep people from getting sick and spreading the virus to others, and trying to keep our hospitals from being overloaded with sick patients. She’s really protesting what is actually an attempt to minimize the risk of the virus to her community. It’s not her backyard or her playground. She shouldn’t even be there, her and the others, congregating and potentially spreading this virus and all so their kids can play at the public park for a couple of hours.
When you consider the context? Hell nah I don’t consider it courageous or necessary, it’s selfish and stupid. And the only reason she knew she could act that entitled is because of her privilege. She knew her ass would be released shortly after. Come on breh, i understand your POV but in this case I don’t agree with it.
