My touch screen Lenovo Yoga pad
Different strokes for different folks. I personally wouldn't buy anything with the touch screen gimmick unless it was a dedicated tablet.
I listed the reasons I use a Mac. It's a solid build (mine gets tossed around a lot), it's UNIX, which makes it a developers dream with the stuff it comes preinstalled with. Not to mention I went through 3 HP DV1000's (almost $1,800 each at the time) in 2 years before buying my first Mac. And it had nothing to do with downloading software or viruses. They were plastic POS's.
But you're right about one thing. No computer is going to solve your problem if you don't have common sense while browsing the web and downloading shyt.

The touch screen literally takes not a single thing away from the laptop experience and only ADDS to it by giving you new options in interacting with your PC. To take this position means you're simply refusing to acknowledge technological advances until your company of choice chooses to employ them. When Apple inevitably transforms its currently PC line up into touch screen machines, lets see if you still maintain this illogical position.
