Why go to great lengths, and possibly permanently damaging your hair, just to relax your hair?
And why is a perm called a relaxer?

Thats like asking why to smokers smoke when they know its damaging to their lungs, personal choice. Tis all. Why is relaxers called a perm.... one of the BIGGEST debates in white women hair vs. black women hair topics. I honestly dont know, but i have gotten in trouble when i schooled a room mom on what a perm (the kind i get) was. I had no idea they perm curled hair....
Anyway, i have a good grade of hair, i can go natural but its the fawcking transition period i hate.
