Wasn't a fan at all of Jeff Jarrett being a main eventer though
I like his Chosen One run. He was one of their most consistent and dependable performers during that time. He didn't even want the title at first because he knew WCW was at a low and he didn't want to become the poster boy for that era. There was no one else to put it on though.

WCW had a lot of good talent going on at that time. 3 Count, Jung Dragons, Lance Storm, Jarrett, Booker T, Natural Born Thrillers... It was just too little too late.
It wasn't a smooth transition from the Nitro era to the Russo era. You blinked and all of WCW's top stars were gone and it was a bunch of new, young guys. No one had been built up, no torches were passed. Russo was just like "fukk you" to all of the old guys and started from scratch.
