i didn't think album matched the excitement that futuresex/lovesounds did when it dropped but the more i've listened to it over time, it's definitely grown on me

but do you all think timbaland came with some top notch production with both 1 and 2 of the 20/20 experience albums? :patrice:

@dontreadthis @Todd McPiff @CodeBlaMeVi @L. Deezy @Michael's Black Son @KravenMorehead™ i know y'all are big fans timbaland's production, what do y'all think about the production on both 1 and 2 of the 20/20 experience albums? did ya'll think the production work he did on both those 20/20 experience albums was another example of him bein' at the top of his game or naw?:jbhmm:

Funny you made this cause I thought it was perfect.. I could literally visualize music videos for all the songs. Which is what the title and theme of the album was all about anyway lmao

I thought it was better than Futuresex/lovesounds. It's just that Futuresex was a sophomore album so it was more hype, and the videos were better.

I also love how long the songs were...

yeah? yeah, i've grown an appreciation for timbaland's work on this album. the 1st go round i felt like he was just kinda coastin' but the work here was nice

now i don't think it was better than futuresex/lovesounds but it's definitely nice

i hadn't thought of frank ocean on pusher love girl but i did think usher would've sounded great over that beat

20/20 Experience Pt. 1 is some of Timbaland's best work. In comparison, it is a more cohesive effort than Futuresex/Lovesounds. "Don't Hold The Wall" alone is just :wow:. The second half of "Mirrors" and all those transitions on "Let The Groove Get In" :whew:.

As for Pt. 2, I felt like songs like "Take Back The Night" and "You Got It On" would've fit on Pt. 1. "Cabaret" was dope also. I also liked "Amnesia" and "Drink You Away" and the two bonus tracks. The rest of it was pretty much disposable.

Part 1 damn near classic. As others has stated, some of the songs' outros were too long-winded, but the main parts were piff. :banderas:

Part 2 had a couple bangers, but felt like "20/20 Expeirience Part 1: The Lost Sessions" or something. :shaq2:

Part 2 classic too. Not a bad thing, electric lady, amnesia, drink you away. It's just the slow jams that throw nikkas off but them grooves >>>>>> when you get into it, the two CDs ain't meant to be compared against each other. 2 diff vibes

"you got it on" is some nighttime ridin slow through manhattan in an SUV on christmas eve with white lights on the christmas trees, with your girl asleep on your arm with a smile on her face type steez :banderas:nikkas kill me hatin on 2 of 2
