dude blows, its been almost 4 years
hes gotten a longer rope then gabbert and ponder
Cause he's had nobody to throw to, is always hurt, and an offensive line that almost tries to get him killed.

so your saying they should keep him as starter instead of finding somebody else for next year?Cause he's had nobody to throw to, is always hurt, and an offensive line that almost tries to get him killed.
The funny thing about this draft is everyone knew this at the time. When each of those picks were made, we all went.
Far cry from the 1997 NFL draft when only Jim Druckenmiller went in the first round to San Fran and only he and Jake Plummer went the first day of the draft.

that better not be the case, his replacement better be from the draftThey're paying him $2.09 M this season and have already declined his 5th year option

The team hasn't had a pro bowler at any position since 2010, so it's not like he's the problem.
unless you think Zach Mettenberger is the future, Locker is gonna be back as QB for the Titans.
It was incredible. Nobody in their right mind who watched Ponder, Gabbert or Locker in college thought they would be anything more than journeymen. The funny thing about this draft is everyone knew this at the time. When each of those picks were made, we all went.

Looking at the next two DEs taken after the Bucs pickthe bucs went ten and six in the wrong fukking year. it was so many good players in that drat![]()

what 3 guys stand out as busts? keeping in mind that while 3 was too high Dareus made the Pro Bowl last year and is a big reason why BUF clogs the run
1 1 Carolina Panthers Cam Newton† QB Auburn SEC
1 2 Denver Broncos Von Miller† LB Texas A&M Big 12
1 3 Buffalo Bills Marcell Dareus† DE Alabama SEC
1 4 Cincinnati Bengals A. J. Green† WR Georgia SEC
1 5 Arizona Cardinals Patrick Peterson† CB LSU SEC
1 6 Atlanta Falcons Julio Jones† WR Alabama SEC from Cleveland [R1 - 1]
1 7 San Francisco 49ers Aldon Smith† LB Missouri Big 12
1 8 Tennessee Titans Jake Locker QB Washington Pac-10
1 9 Dallas Cowboys Tyron Smith† OT USC Pac-10
1 10 Jacksonville Jaguars Blaine Gabbert QB Missouri Big 12 from Washington [R1 - 2]
1 11 Houston Texans J. J. Watt† DE Wisconsin Big Ten
1 12 Minnesota Vikings Christian Ponder QB Florida State ACC
1 13 Detroit Lions Nick Fairley DT Auburn SEC
1 14 St. Louis Rams Robert Quinn† DE North Carolina ACC
1 15 Miami Dolphins Mike Pouncey† C Florida SEC
1 16 Washington Redskins Ryan Kerrigan† DE Purdue
outside of Fairley, the other 12 non-Gabby/Ponder/Locker guys have made Pro Bowls and there are 7 borderline or established superstars in there. good ass 1st round...
I'd say 16.. Kerrigan is the only player on the Skins worth a damn.Take out the reach on QB's, is there a better first 14 picks ever?
That's an impressive list right there
but its a good startReplacing Jake Locker isn't gonna fix that the entire team is full of mediocre/ below average players.
when SF picked Aldon over GabbertI thought aldon was a project who was very risky, I remember I wanted quinn, kerrigan and fairley over himI specifically remember folkswhen SF picked Aldon over Gabbert

everybody criticized the niners, baalke knew the real deal thoughI thought aldon was a project who was very risky, I remember I wanted quinn, kerrigan and fairley over him
osboog who was a huge Niners fan back on sohh swore by gabbert but most of us Niner fans didnt think he was that good at all
