Shields is a very good starter and all but Myers is a beast and this means there keeping the worst everyday player jeff francoeur in rf

plus Jake Odorizzi and Michael Montgomery were there top 2 pitching prospects jesus this is a rape

they gave away Motngomery too? :wow:

I know he had a bad year last year but two years aago he was there top prospect and a top 30 prospect in baseball

Also, I REALLY wanted Ellsbury instead

This is great. You mean you actually wanted Jacoby Ellsbury instead of Michael Young?

I'm gonna go grab a snack right now, hopefully there's some ice cream up there instead of a bag of shyt.

:wtf:

What the fukk are you even talking about, a$$hole?

What I said was in reference to the Phils’ acquisition of Ben Revere instead of Ellsbury, not Michael Young. They hadn’t even SIGNED Michael Young yet at the time I made that post.

If you're gonna quote me and then try to be flippant, get your fukking facts straight first or at least have the proper context.

Anyway....rumor going around 97.5 that the Phillies and Cubs are in talks for a Soriano for Dom Brown trade straight up.

I don't like that deal. Soriano isn't a locker room guy, that "me first" shyt he be on ain't gon' fly here.

As it stands right now (as I type this), Phillies are still considered players for Hamilton, Swisher and Cody Ross.

Fair enough.

Point doesn't really change though

One thing I have changed my opinion on is gauging Young's effectiveness given his age.

I think that the chances that he tanks are, at the very least, even to slightly lesser than the chances are that he bounces back to his career-average form. I mean damn, a dude is consistent with his for years, he deserves the benefit of the doubt for one bad one, yunno? Plus, he's going to thrive at CBP...where he'll hit in the lineup will benefit him greatly, and he's gettin' back to playing every day.

Besides, we got him at a steal. And Cody Asche should be ready by next year, if not later this year. Not to mention, Frandsen is pretty damn serviceable.

RAJ isn't done makin' moves, though. Power-hitting OF, SP and a set-up guy all still likely on the way.

I'm good with Hamilton, of course, but I'm not mad at Swisher. I'd only want Cody Ross if there's no other choice, can't stand that fakkit but he does dominate in this park... :snoop:

Like this trade for the Reds a lot. Adds salary, but they're trying to win it right now. Stubbs I can't see being anything more than what he is as a hitter. Great defense and baserunning, but the kid has no discipline at the plate. Way easier to hide a guy like that in the AL.

If Choo can play like he has the ability to, this offense will really take off
