This weekend...if G'Town loses vs. Syracuse, and UL beats Notre Dame...the Cards will win the Regular Season Big East Championship and get the 1 seed for their last Big East Tournament in MSG.

If Georgetown wins and we win, we're a 2 seed. If we lose to ND, we're a 3 seed.

We got a double bye regardless :smugbron:

They shouldn't be first round picks though. They are nowhere near ready. Not EVERY Freshman is ready to come in and dominate college basketball. Calipari did this to himself with the way he recruits. Calipari's gimmick is to get BALLER recruits and let them come in and do what they do. You've seen what happens when it works, now you see what happens when it doesn't.

This years team is made up of 2 transfers, 4 freshman, a former walk-on, and a sophomore who's the only one left from the '11 recruiting class. Absolutely no chemistry at all. It was a recipe for failure.

Its not about being ready they just arent that talented. Calipari ands UK's sucess now hinges on how strong a recruting class overall is because you know hes gonna get 4 or 5 out of the top 25 every year but if its a weak class like this past recruting class which is one of the worst in years then UK is not gonna be great

Next year the 2013 class as a whole is as good as its been in years so UK will be loaded
