i've seen them 3 times twice against the zags and against byu... they would be 500 in the sec... and the sec is bad... they would be the 6th or 7th best team in the a 10

They also obliterated Creighton this year too

but I'm not going to argue that they're great...just that they should be in the tournament

there's not 37 at-large teams with better resumes...there just aren't

now...maybe you put them on the play-in game 12 line and they barely sneak in?...fine.

but to say they shouldn't be in the tournament is ridiculous...and to say they'd be LSU-Georgia level in the SEC is also nonsense

I watched a ton of crappy ass SEC basketball this year because Mizzou is in the conference...and this is the worst Mizzou team in 4 or 5 years...St. Mary's would at least perform like them...11-7 status in conference

this is a bad year for hoops in general...teams that normally wouldn't make it in will make it in this year

Not taking shyt away from K.O., but this Waldo dude is terrible. They keep hyping his energy and toughness... but where is his talent?

at least len stays, no? :beli:
if he a top 10 pick, he leaves. For his development, he should stay. FOr his pockets, he should go.

If Len has any sense, this will be his last year of college ball. He's got a chance to be a top 15 pick.
yeah, I cant see him staying.

But hey, there's always the chance they can pull out a miracle 4-day run later this week....:scheme: Right? Right? Right? :sadbron:
that March weekend in 2004 will not happen this year. :sadcam:

What? I'm obviously not talking about Harris or Olynyk. I think his name was Dower. He looked - unlike Waldo - like a skilled big man. Am I completely off? First time I noticed the dude.

:noah: I thought you were just being a dikk :heh:

Yeah, Sam Dower, big lefty...he hasn't gotten a lot better since he got here, or maybe I just thought he'd end up more dominant. But he can definitely play and is mismatch against almost every back-up big he sees.

I dotn know why this is the year people are poking holes at Gonzaga..this is there most talented team in awhile add in the fact this might be the most watered down year in cbb ever why is it impossible to see them going extremely far?

What team is so good that they couldnt play with?

They could just as easily lose in the sweet 16 as make the final 4 but u can say that about every team this year

Monday, 5 more teams got their tickets punched for the dance, and only 1 small conference #1 took an L. Congrads to Gonzaga, James Madison, Davidson, Iona, and Western Kentucky. Congrads to Northeastern for getting to the NIT. The bubble still looks the same though.

Teams officially in NCAA
Florida Gulf Coast (Atlantic Sun champ) (24-10)
Harvard (Ivy champ) (19-9)
Belmont (Ohio Valley champ) (26-6)
Liberty (Big South champ) (15-20) (will be a 16 seed)
Creighton (Missouri Valley champ) (27-7)
James Madison (Colonial champ) (20-14)
Davidson (Southern champ) (26-7)
Western Kentucky (Sun Belt champ) (20-15)
Gonzaga (West Coast champ) (32-2) (will be a #1 seed)
Iona (Metro Atlantic champ) (20-13)

Teams officially in NIT
Mercer (Atlantic Sun reg. season champ)
Robert Morris (Northeast reg. season champ)
Charleston Southern (Big South reg. season champ)
Niagara (MAAC reg. season champ)
Stony Brook (America East reg. season champ)
Middle Tennessee St. (Sun Belt reg. season champ)
Northeastern (Colonial reg. season champ)

Thank you. Most top heavy major conference in the country. I've seen more of their games than I wanted to in retrospect - a lot of bad basketball.

Can anyone think of a more watered down mediocre year?

Ive bene watchign since the very early 90's and i cant remember a year with less talent and bad basketball

Next years freshmen better be as good as advertised becasue cbb needs a talent boost
