Yeah i think he is destined for bench status too. Maybe he can be a super sixth man or something but i don't think he will ever reach the heights i expected of him. If he can average like 17 5 3 for his career i guess he will have done alright. But only being a true 6'7 hurt him from the start though.

he's not a great great defender, not even close. from individual value - the most important aspect of being a perimeter defender is playing feet defense, the majority of the time rondo doesn't play any. yes boston's schemes are set on deflecting baseline/dead ends and towards KG, but he's got to trigger-happy with playin that defense. he let allen skip past him a couple times in the heat game (no effort in trying to stay in front of him) and jennings pretty much had his way with him the entire game.

Rondo, who watched counterpart Brandon Jennings post 21 points, 13 assists, and six steals over over 29 minutes on Friday, said Boston's turnaround hinges on him.
