He looks just like this nikka too -
Westbrook consistently worked from the left block, backing down Lin before spinning and shooting about an eight footer with ease. At times, Westbrook faced up and simply shot over the top. The most impressive part of Westbrooks work in the post tonight, though, was his patience. He had a plan and he never rushed it. If he can stick to that, theres no telling the impact it could have on his offense and the teams rhythm in the haflcourt.
working on a little post game
The first 4 out of 6 plays are him facing the rim
He's literally doing everything I said too, running hook, turn and face. There's a couple of moves mixed in against Josh Powell, Glen Davis and other assorted garbage. That's all from his playoff run in 2010, and the Bobcats stuff clips meh, he averaged 9.75ppg against them in that series cause Tyson, Theo and Nazr were on his ass.
Also, not even a 4 minute long video and he's been in the NBA how long? I know he's on your team now, but he doesn't have a decent back to the basket game, not even close.
I acknowledged that the majority of the game is him facing the rim. But I was more pointing to the plays with his back to the basket.
And trust me it's got nothing to do with him being on the Lakers. I said the same thing last year too on SOHH. When he actually got in the post and backed people down he showed he was capable of it. I love watching good post play which is why I was paying attention to Dwight. You can tell he still lacks any confidence in his moves down low. Plus even now Dwight is a lot smaller than a Shaq so you won't see him being able to back every center down.
Plus has any players spoken on how strong he really is. I know that you've played enough ball to know you can't tell somebody's strength by just looking at them. I rarely see Dwight just overpower anybody.

How does he only score 4 points in 30 minutes?
He has been my favorite player out of the 2010 draft, and one of my favorite players in the game but mann this is his last year for him to prove that he has "it", I think he can do some great and special things, but performances like this has me like
I know its just preseason, but he better bring his best game ever this season. Everytime I think he has turned the corner, he has me like
