Heaven on Earth
he cant dribble or defend

He can defend..It's not a problem with skill or motor he just is confused with rotations which is typical for a young player coming into the league (remember he just turned 19)..

His ball handling is a cause for concern though...Which is why I was shocked when he kept shooting up the draft boards last spring...

He's probably about 4 years away...The Wizards shouldn't have picked him if they were looking for a quick fix...

the defending thing is more about him not playing much last night

but his dribbling :why:

I think he will get better when Wall gets back since Wall is a good facilitator and all Beal will have to do is spot up.

But I would have liked to take Drummond at #3 or move down to take Lamb if they were hell bent on taking a 2guard.

New Orleans Hornets shooting guard Eric Gordon will be out indefinitely, Coach Monty Williams said Wednesday morning, though neither Williams nor Gordon could shed any light on the severity of the right knee problem that kept the team’s max money player sidelined through the entirety of training camp.

Gordon was instructed by a member of the Hornets’ media relations staff not to speak with reporters and was escorted to the locker room after shoot around by the team’s security chief.

“He’s going to be out,” Williams said. “The way I understand it, he’s going to be out indefinitely until we get some more clarity on what’s going on so I don’t have to answer these questions every day and give you guys the update. We’ll just go from there.”

Rookie Austin Rivers will start Wednesday night against the San Antonio Spurs at the two-guard spot.
