Sources close to the process say Holiday has been offered a deal in the $9 million per year range and his camp has turned that away. The belief is that with so few impact guards available in free agency and the way money was thrown around this summer that if Jrue can make the big jump the 76ers expect he can get his free agent value significantly higher than $9 million per season.
:what: In what world is Holiday worth the max? He should be happy that he is being offered 9m. If I'm Philly, they should throw him to the bushes and let him walk or trade him :birdman:

$9 mil is what he's worth. However, it's a matter of supply and demand. It's not as if he's gonna get a lesser deal than what he's being offered if he tests the market. His agent knows what he's doing. All you need is one team to overpay. Dallas could do it. Utah SHOULD do it. Milwaukee possibly. Something else may open up.

suns on tv:scusthov:

:smh: all so ESPN can show that cac Steve Nash... oh wait, he's not on the team. :krs: There goes that argument

Let's face it. Unless you want the Lakers or Clippers on every night at 10:30, you better pray either the Suns, Warriors, Kings, or Trail Blazers get their shyt together soon, because they're gonna get a bunch of 9:30 and 10:30 Eastern Time games by default.

he is good and talented and with how depleted the FA scene is gonna be after this season, its smart, but mann the NBA needs to change the CBA. Unless he makes the all star team, I don't see how he is can be worth 9+. The NBA should add an incentive like if you make an all star team, lead the legaue in a certain category, lead team to playoffs, etc. to qualify for a max contract or something. I mean Omer Asik, Batum, etc. are making almost like 10+ mill, but I can't knock the players and there agent's hustle for the guap :yeshrug:
