i dont put much emphasis on the pre-season, but seems like enes kanter was a beast. there's no real reason he shouldnt atleast be one of the best rebounders though. i'm guessing that would shape an exit for al jefferson

There will always be someone that slips through the cracks or develops late and comes out of nowhere. Duncan wasn't on the radar until his sophomore year in College.

I just think it takes too unique of a player to run the system the Heat have, even Wade is odd/unique, he makes up for the lack of shot blocking from Bosh. You worry more about the 6"4 guard blocking your shot on help D than you do their 6"11 PF/C and most of his offense comes inside the paint. Their two wing players have an affect on offense similar to big men, and their tallest player shoots 18 footers and 3s :mindblown:

You're just not going to be able to replicate that.
Breh I just watched Jahlil Okafor highlights :mindblown: hope we get him at Kentucky but I read that him and that Tyus PG were a package deal or some shyt, and we're going after Mudiay at point (who I prefer over Tyus) :yeshrug:

Em I the only one that thinks that the Blazers might be able to surprise a lot of teams? This is a solid line-up of Lillard, Wes Mathews, Batum, Hickson, and LMA. And they got Leonard, who has an NBA ready body already, and some alright Euros' on the team. IDK I think they could make a run for the 8th spot, but its gonna be hard, but I think Lillard and Aldridge should be good enough for the Blazers to be really good. Lillard reminds a bit of Westbrook, but a Point Guard version of :russ: as he can control the tempo of the game and is really good at creating for others, has really good court vision and has a really good jump shot and can shoot the 3 ball. It seems like they might be better off on continue to rebuild and get another pick, but I think they might be onto something and can surprise a lot of teams.
Their bench will kill them every time out.
Miami is already the best small ball team ever, first one I can think of that won a title. But, I see a lot of experts saying that is the way the league is going and I just don't buy it, there seems to be a upswing in centers lately, and most importantly the only reason Miami can get away with the small bull scheme is because their Small Forward is essentially the size of a Power Forward and he can play as a dominant wing scorer or pass out of the post. They have the ultimate swiss army knife on their roster that is a once in a generation player (If that), and experts seem to think this formula can be copied?
You addressed it in your subsequent post but there isn't much small about Bron and Wade. Thunder found that out the hard way.

I was just impressed by his comfort level in the post. takes his time and is really smooth and deliberate with his moves. Its just rare you see a HS player who loves playing in the post like that.

Nah, big Drum went 9th, Austin went 10th.

The Cavs however could have had Drummond and Valanciunas or Valanciunas and Robinson/Barnes.

Jonas had 15/7 in 20 minutes tonight, both Drummond and Jonas look better than Thompson or Waiters.
I haven't seen much of Waiters but Thompson has only looked impressive to me on a few nights since we drafted him. I love my Cavs but they've managed to frustrate me with their drafts recently.
