Yeah, Hibbert has been trash all year, but ironically, the time that I was up against him in Fantasy that nikka got a triple double with blocks. I was... PISSED.

But this nikka Tyreke playin' some ball tonight.

:leon:

Hopefully he can keep it up. He was starting to get off before he hurt his knee.

Reke got the tools to become one of the best guards. Once he gets that J to 38-40% range to go with his ability to get to the rim and to be a shut down defender, that dude's gonna be a problem.

That knee bruise he had fukked him up cause he was on his way to becoming a better player.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
Personally, I'd wait to see where Granger fits in the puzzle (Granger could be a 6th man option) before all this trade talk. I named Gordon (with obvious limitations) because he's the type of player they need, not a combo-guard who isn't really effective at anything, besides taking it to the hole. Plus Granger hasn't had a George-caliber type of player (speaking in terms of where he is at now) to gauge his playoff performances. Vogel could continue to use George as the focal point and Granger as the #2 option.

Granger playoffs:

06 - Played 6 games (started only 3) and played a small part in the Pacers system.

11 - Played 5 games (played the #1 seed Bulls and arguably the best defense in the league) and suffered from offensive help. Next best offensive threat on team was Hansborough who shot 11 PPG on 33% and played with a 7fter who avg a measly 6.8 rebounds per game.

12 - Cruised past the Magic and was hampered by an injury through a major part of the Heat series.

I wouldn't attributed his unsuccessful playoff record to him getting shutdown at all.
My thing is I don't really like Grangers game, when he's not scoring he gives you virtually nothing and his game doesn't really put pressure on the D. That is an expensive 6th man, if they got Evans and Garcia you get a shooter off the bench in Garcia and Evans makes their offense more dynamic. Their offense wouldn't change much if George became the feature option, and Granger became the number 2, it's basically a role reversal for the two, just that George has more potential.

Injury didn't hamper him against the Heat, check his career numbers against Bron, he's on permanent timeout, that was par for the course.

In what sense? He's avg 21 points over the last four seasons (PPG has decreased mainly due to more balanced offensive teams).

How's it a bad thing that it'll be a role-reversal when we've only seen those two together, when George was scratching the surface of where he could be as player (and we don't know the potential they have as a duo). With relatively inexperienced backcourt/wings, they need Granger's experience; they have a better shot at winning a ship this season with Granger than they do with Tyreke.

The injuries played their part, nevertheless it's still not cause to say he hasn't done anything in the playoffs due to getting shutdown (like it's a regular occurrence).

His production has gone down the last two seasons though, and in the sense that when he's not scoring what else does he bring to the table? He's not a great defender, rebounder, passer etc. He's just a good scorer who had his best years when his team was awful. His game does not apply pressure on a defense, doesn't get to the rim and just takes long jumpers for the most part.

I don't see it fam, they have the same chance of winning a title with Granger as they do with Evans, none. But, they have room for growth considering Evans age and his game can still be molded. Paul is still a year or two away from that next step, his shot selection and decision making are still questionable. And when Granger comes back, what are the odds he's going to take a backseat to George? If it weren't for him getting hurt Paul never would have developed as much as he has this season.

I'll take the attacking style of Evans with George and Hill, over a dude that just takes jumpers. The Pacers do not have anyone on their roster that can get to the rim, and that includes George (currently).

Granger nothing but a chucker that's as simple as I can put it for the betterment of my squad I pray Indiana re-signs him.
