I never paid attention to Wes Mathews defense, but he is one rugged and tough as fukk defender. When Stots had Mathews on Bron during the beginning of the game, I was like I thought it was a bad decision and mistake, but he played some very good man defense and pressure on Bron 
I wasn't the biggest fan of his game, and thought he was better suited as a 6th man on a contender, but he has been great. I thought he would be a bit better and be one of the best SG in the game since that rookie season with the Jazz and the 1st season with the Blazlers when Roy got hurt, but he is still a very good player.
