I dont get the hate for Thompson either,he had 21 9 & 5 tonight and he had a couple of great defensive series against KG at the end....Hes a double double player right now with no jumper...He has improved ALOT in one season...

So in addition to their own first rounds picks, Cleveland has an additional four first rounders they have acquired through trades (Miami, Miami, Sacramento, Memphis).

The future looks bright for the Cavs.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
The Cavs could have traded down and got Thompson? Says who?

You are just making shyt up.

The Wiz, Bobcats and Bucks all wanted to trade up, had the Cavs not taken Tristan he was projected to go between 8-10, the Cats had the 9th, and the Bucks had the 10th.

You're from Toronto, Thompson is from Brampton, put aside your "I gotta rep for my countrymen" bias. These numbers are the definition of hollow, he's playing with an all-star level PG, he had an all-star level C playing next to him, and the team he's on still cannot win games.

Somebody has to get these rebounds, right? I don't see an impact player when I watch him, I just see a dude piling up numbers because who the hell else is going to get the rebounds? He wasn't doing any of this with Varejao.

The countrymen bs aint got sh1t to do with it,...Stats on losing teams are hollow that goes for Kyrie and a sh1tload of all stars in the league..HE cant help if it he plays on a sh1tty team...Individually he has improved into a double double player with no offensive game,if he can develop a jumper or post game and improve his D than hes a solid pick at 4.....There wasnt a much greater option at that position...people that say JV are fooling themselves...

Bullshyt. No one was trading up in that God awful draft.

Teams don't work the board and trade up and down like in the NFL draft.

The greater option would have been trading down, they could have gotten two picks from the Wiz and gotten Klay Thompson and Kenneth Faried last year, they could have kept JJ Hickson who is putting up better numbers than Tristan. The point is, taking him that high wasn't something they had to do.

Do you not get part of the reason they passed on Andre Drummond this year is because they didn't know how he would fit with Tristan. So you pass on a potential franchise center, because you're not sure how he meshes with Tristan :scusthov:

And JV has a higher ceiling simply because he's bigger.
