They don't have any other backup bigs, so if they started him Jason Maxiel would be the first big guy off the bench.
Pistons are doing the right thing with his development, keep him hungry and bring him a long slowly. He's the best center prospect in a minute, and he's way a head of schedule, so there's no rush.
I get that. I'd love to see him keep up the same productivity against starting units consistently.
