The Toronto Raptors would prefer to trade Kyle Lowry over Jose Calderon, according to league sources.

Lowry was acquired last offseason from the Houston Rockets in exchange for Gary Forbes and a future first-round lottery pick.

Lowry is averaging 13.8 points and 5.8 assists in 27.7 minutes behind Calderon.
:wtf: How does Calderon continue to beat out all these PG's that are supposed to take his starting job? He beat out TJ Ford, Jarrett Jack, Jerryd Bayless, and now Lowry. :why: Lowry is probably the most underrated PG in the game, and he is on the bench instead of Calderon. :ehh: But, Calderon has been ballin' though when he took over for Lowry when he got hurt, but they really just wasted Lowry and got him for no reason? I'm not sure if they can re-sign after this season.

The problem is there is almost no chance that Bledsoe is wearing a Clippers uniform next year. A restricted free agent in the summer of 2014, he will get a major offer from a team under the cap, and the Clippers already know they won't be able to afford to match it.

The Hawks have been fielding calls, but have been reluctant to trade him because they believe Smith's presence in Atlanta could be a powerful lure for Dwight Howard this summer. But with Howard's situation up in the air, the time seems right for the Hawks and Smith to move on. Multiple rival executives confirmed that the Hawks have participated in trade conversations with several teams regarding Smith, a 27-year-old game-changing defender when engaged.

Brooklyn, Milwaukee and Denver are among the teams that might make a play for Utah forward Paul Millsap at the deadline. Millsap's contract expires at season's end. Most teams interested in obtaining Millsap, however, would do so with the intent of offering him an immediate extension. But virtually every GM in the league believes the Jazz are moving one of their two big men -- either Jefferson or Paul Millsap. Because Millsap is a favorite of the team, Jefferson could be the odd man out.

The Cleveland Cavaliers are already receiving trade interest from other teams in Marreese Speights.
Speights was acquired last week in a trade with the Memphis Grizzlies.
The Cavaliers have $12 million in expiring contracts.
Daniel Gibson and Omri Casspi are also candidates to be traded by the Cavaliers.

I'm a big fan of Millsap, but with Faried on the team, dealing for another undersized PF looking to get paid this summer makes no sense whatsoever.
