you picked a bad time to say this. He's played A LOT better. He needs the time. He'll be so much better when he leaves. He's getting the chance to play through mistakes which he never had a chance to do. Throw him out there for 30 minutes at the four and just let him play.

My timing is sound, it shows I couldn't care less about his number :playahata: I just don't see an impact player, dude is one of those guys who finishes the game with 17 and 8 and you're wondering how it happened.

If he turns into Jamison, that's not garbage. If he turns into a 19 and 8 guy, that's not bad at all. In fact, 19 and 8 is probably what you would have expected from him anyway (and he's been putting up 17 and 8 when he actually doesn't get jerked around for minutes). I look at him the way I looked at Pek last year. Really promising talents that just need to be out there to learn and develop. Unfortunately Adelman's been a dikkhead to him since he's been here.

See, that's the thing, Jamison has always been trash he just posted numbers and had almost no impact on the outcome of games. I cannot stand PFs with that Jamison game, and Williams is looking like he's got next.

I say the same thing about Love and he's a 2 time all-star. Team's so banged up it's hard for anyone's numbers to be impactful at the moment. It would help Derrick to be in crunch time, but Rick would rather let him watch Dante.

The outside perception isn't even that he doesn't have an impact. It's that he sucks completely and that's he's a tweener, and that's just incorrect. Coaching has absolutely failed him. By far Adelman's biggest blemish while he's been here.

Love is obviously a number 2 though, like if he's your second best player you're going to win a lot of games. I don't see Williams ever being that good, just like if a prime Jamison being your 2nd best player you shouldn't expect much.


I don't like his game, he may not be a tweener but neither was Jamison.

I completely get why the team is so hesitant to give him more than $12 mil a year. I really do. Even when he's 100% he's not a max player. That said, they have no choice but to pay him until Rubio gets his extension and then they can shop him.

It's like how is this strong ass dude always getting dinged up. He gets back from one thing, and then hurts something else a few games later.

He takes a lot of punishment, especially now that Love is out, so Pek is always surrounded by 2 or 3 guys. That, and he's 290. If he lands awkwardly that's 290 pounds rolling on top of your ankle.

this year it's just been the way of the team. Injury bug did them all in.

Pek/Love/AK/Roy/Rubio = NEVER got a chance to be on the court once

Pek/Love/AK/Malcolm Lee/Rubio: I believe they combined had 3 minutes of court time together all season.

Love/Rubio: 29 minutes of court time together over 3 games. The team the way it was supposed to look never remotely happened.

Just seen the tnt crew give Alimoe some props and pay their condolences, not gonna lie it touched me to see him getting his props from former NBA players, Shaq especially. RIP Alimoe.
