Pirates are 13 games over .500 (53-40)
They were in this same spot last year and they collapsed. This team this team is better but until their actual clinch a playoff spot a lot people will still be skeptical of the Pirates having a winning season this year.

The Pirates were no higher than 7 games over .500 last year.
I know, Im saying that some Pittsburgh fans will skeptical of the Pirates current run until they actually make the playoffs. Anyway Pirates continue to 
No they weren't.
Last year they were 5 games over .500. This year they're 14 games over.
And their run differential is +40 more as well.
Rangers are done. Pujols just bombed off Ogando which gave me nightmare flashbacks from the World Series last year. 
Our pitching is not consistnt, nor are the bats. If we're not smashing HR's, we're not scoring. Josh hamilton has batted 3 times tonight and only had 7or 8 pitches. SMH
I called Trout & Trumbo to beast before the season, now it's coming to fruition.
We have a tough stretch of schedule in August against a bunch of good teams that may do us in.
