. Plus he hit the game-winning homerun against St.Louis last postseason.He was signed for more that just his production also. His marketability was also apart of the equation.

His signing meant somethin to the franchise at the moment. We never made a big splash in free agency so it meant somethin to the fanbase, and showed us that the owner was committed to building somethin here in the district besides his bank account. To a new fanbase that demonstrated somethin to us.
meh, probably more of a wash. but i dont trust panda.

george bell, manuel lee, tony fernandez, juan guzman, when i went to dr a few years ago i was wearing that yankees hat but dudes knew i was from canada, and kept asking about the blue jays, i could imagine the gawd status of the current jays at the moment dow there.

Vlad Guerrero is now a Long Island Duck hahaha they always pick up old Major Leaguers. I've never went to a Duck game but it's probably 15 minutes from me I might have to go check it out.
I went once, my girl's mother got free tickets from her job so I took a drive out there. It's a nice lil park and parking is free, nothing to do outside the ball park after the game. Good crowd, was really surprised how much they were into the game and how much they actually followed independent league Baseball and the Ducks. They were die hards like how Mets and Yanks fans are.

Yeah I went once when my Highschool played a game there it was a cool little park. Nothing really around the ballpark itself but theres a couple of hotspots not to to far away. I just heard the kids going bonkers on those quacker things they give out will drive a sane man crazy.
