Carlos Quintin charging the mound was retarded man. Grinke wasn't trying to hit him.

Grinke was dumb for putting his shoulder down when Quentin was charging him. He is too frail to take that kind of hit, hence the broken collarbone.
I read that Mattingly said Quentin should be out as long as Grinke will be for the broken collarbone. Thats dumb. If Quentin fractured his elbow on the pitch, should Grinke sit out all that time as well?
Quentin was dumb for charging him for getting hit, especially if he gets hit all the time. It didnt look intentional.
Matt Kemp was heated though. Just watching the video, I didnt know why. Found out after that he got buzzed in the 1st inning and was still heated from that. Kemp wanted to fight the whole Padres team. Even going after Quentin after the game in the locker room area. Those cats were face to face too.

The climate is really changing & there are many open-air stadiums in cold cities. Does this validate the point that the MLB season should be shortened to begin & end closer to spring/summer weather periods?
Begin the season in late April, end the WS in late Sept?
I doubt it ever happens for money issues, obviously...but it'd be cool if it did at this point because we're gonna deal with this every fukkin year.

Greinke out 8 weeks.
i'm from NY and have played in cold weather, too. But I'm not talking about us. I'm talking in terms of delays, PPDs, stadiums in cold weather cities without roofs, etc. I know that it is what it is, but I think it's only gonna get worse as time passes.
