Starting pitching after Jared Weaver is pretty thin and erratic. Even CJ Wilson, who is a strikeout pitcher, is prone to getting hit badly. Bullpen isn't all that formidable, either.

The bats are just not doing what they were brought in to do. Mike Trout facing that sophomore slump now that pitchers stopped throwing over the plate to him. Lots of teams have decided to crowd Trout at the plate and he hasn't responded yet.

Anybody who watched Rangers games last year knows that Josh Hamilton is in the bottom 10% of the league with regards to plate discipline. He's on Dan Uggla and Adam Dunn level of swinging at absolute garbage. If you just throw trash outside the zone, you can induce half-hearted swings from Josh.


Meanwhile, Texas Rangers best team in baseball.

shyt he didnt bring it those bums pujols and hamilton and its not his damn fault his players arent hitting. I personally would keep him for another year after this year and then if shyt doesnt get turned around move on, but i dont think they will fire him and if they do that would be a huge mistake
