OBP has nothing to do with actual hitting. Votto is not in his class because he doesn't have near the same power as Cabrera, while Miggy hits for the same average.

It shows he has a great eye. When it comes to actually making contact and doing damage with the bat, Votto is not Miggy.

is a hitters goal when he steps in the batters box not to get on base? i didnt know a kindergarten argument would break out, where you litrerally mean the act of swinging a bat and disregarding being selective with pitches in order to get on base, as if theres a large gap between joey vottos .551 career slugging and cabreras career mark of .562. i guess mark reynolds is having a better season thus far than joey votto also, because he is outslugging him. what piss poor baseball discussion

Cabrera has more power. ISO is about 20 points higher over the past 5 years (.250 to .230)

Votto's OBP is better.

They are the two best hitters in the world. They are greater at different things.

Why are Tigers fans so bitter? You bringing up and making jokes about WAR only shows your own ignorance. Nothing else.
