So Joe Torre, Mark Attanasio (our Owner) were among a few guys visiting Uecker in the booth advocating for Prostate Cancer, and there was a very questionable play at 2nd base. 2 outs, man on 2nd and Erik Kratz singles up the middle. Throw comes home, safe, and Kratz tries to take 2nd. Throw beats him by plenty, Segura lays the tag down, and Kratz is called safe.
Replay shows that he was probably out, but it's a play that's called out 99% of the time, so Uecker and Attanasio get on Torre's case a little bit. It was pretty funny...a nice moment. Now Torre joined the guys on TV, and he remarked how he barely got outta there.

We just got the benefit of a HORRIBLE call by the umps.
Bottom 9, 4-3 is the score, runner on 2nd (pitcher Kyle Kendrick, who pinch ran for Jimmy Rollins after he singled) 1 out. Kendrick get's picked off, even though Segura never had control of the ball. Had it, hit the ground and it popped out of his glove, but it was hidden from the umps view. Segura then picked the ball up with his bare hand (he was laying down at this point) and showed it to the ump, and ump called Kendrick out. 2 outs.
Next hitter: double off the wall. IBB to Dom Brown, Michael Martinez (who pinch ran for Howard earlier) grounds out, game over. Philly got screwed. Sorry
