Is there any good baseball podcasts you guys listen too? I really only get my national baseball news off twitter. I have the MLB.tv and watch as much as I can but them west coast games fall through the cracks and I don't look over every box score.

it is truly amazing how often a major league pitcher fields and throws it into center field trying to throw it to second base

it's like they don't know how to throw if it's not pitching.

like when a pitcher fields a bunt.. and instead of lobbing it over to first, you see them cock back and rifle it for no good reason.

I went looking for good podcasts a little while back, and found a few. I'll post what I listen to...all linked to the iTunes feed, but they're available for other Podcast formats also. I don't do fantasy, so if you're into Fantasy Baseball, there's a couple out there for that that won't be listed. The order posted is the order I prefer them:

iTunes - Podcasts - The Baseball Show with Rany and Joe by Joe Sheehan, Rany Jazayerli -- Weekly, usually updated tuesday/wednesday. Average of 1hr, 20m or more. 2 friends (Rany Jazayerli, Joe Sheehan) just talking baseball. Great listen.

iTunes - Podcasts - Fringe Average: Baseball Prospectus Podcast by Mike Ferrin -- Baseball Prospectus, Weekly, usually uploaded late tuesday/wednesday. Average of 1hr, 20m or more. 2 guys (Jason Parks, Mike Ferrin) usually answering listener emails. These guys are hilarious, and they cuss often, so if you're listening at work or something...

iTunes - Podcasts - Effectively Wild: The Daily Baseball Prospectus Podcast by Ben Lindbergh -- Baseball Prospectus, Daily, averages 20-40 minutes. 2 guys (Ben Lindbergh, Sam Miller), that usually each pick a topic a day and discuss it.

iTunes - Podcasts - ESPN: Behind The Dish with Keith Law by ESPN -- ESPN's Keith Law, Weekly, updated on Tuesdays usually, averages 30-40 minutes. Keith doing his solo thing. Talks prospects, minor leaguers, and other goings on in baseball. Has guests pretty often as well.

iTunes - Podcasts - ESPN: Baseball Tonight with Buster Olney by ESPN -- ESPN's Buster Olney, Daily, averages around 35-50 minutes. ESPN pissed a lot of ppl off by replacing the "Baseball Today" podcast with the "Baseball Tonight" podcast. BBTD was widely loved, with Eric Karabell, Keith Law & Mark Simon. BBTN is ok, but it's basically Olney reading his column. He does interview players and team officials pretty often, and Kurkjian is on the show often as well.

That's what I have :yeshrug:...if anyone has any other gems, post 'em up already :birdman:

Mike Olt is bust city, but Chicago seems like a good landing spot for him.

thank god the A's didnt get Garza, dont want. need bats not a bi polar #4 starter

nobody was even lookin to trade with the bum ass A's,, only reason they are in 1st place is because of the ranger pitching issues,,, once our starters are back prepare to go the route of the angels
