Maybe, but Verlander caught flack going into last year's playoffs, even though his 2011 postseason was destroyed by weather.

Farrell played a huge risk by pitching Lackey in game two instead of clay and it paid off. If Lester lost game 1 we were in trouble....but if he won, he had Lackey at home, where his splits are much better, and now we got Clay to clinch on the road.



Rays are helping our cause with some of these errors they dont usually make.
