I don't completely buy all there prospects Braynt will be a stud but the others are still very raw

Mets still got much better pitching with Harvey coming back and at the end of the day there in New York still

They NYC aspect no longer applies to the Mets. The owners are broke and operate like a small market franchise. Don't let the Grandy and Colon signings fool you, the payroll is in the low 80's. Maybe I'm bias because unfortunately I'm a Mets fan but I got the Mets as the most pathetic franchise in sports. Embarrassment on and off the field. Play in NYC, own Cable channel, new stadium, yet hemorrhaging money.

I just read something that the Yankees probably have deals with like 10 of the top 18 international prospects. How is that even allowed?

It's like they had their own personal draft of young international players.

The penalties for the spending spree will be pretty harsh. Not only will the Yankees have to pay a 100% tax on just about every dollar they spend, they will also not be allowed to sign any player to a bonus worth more than $300k during the next two international signing periods (2015-16 and 16-17). With rumors of an international draft continuing to circulate, this may be New York’s last chance to spend freely on amateurs.
