Soriano been a joke. I cringe whenever he comes in. Reminds me so much of chad Cordero. Always some drama in the 9th. I though they would work storen back into the role. It's been two years since game 5. I doubt we bring Soriano back. Clippard is a better setup man than closer.

When you have a closer that pitches to contact and has no out pitch, it leads what Soriano is doing. The guy is a clown and is a big reason why I don't have think can win the pennant this year. Storen been the best pitcher in our strong ass bullpen and should be closer next year.

Fredi moved Jason back to the leadoff spot before the Oakland series. We haven't lost since. Now he will feel justified in making that move.

in December of 2013, Storen's value was low. Dude rebounded a bit after being demoted to the minors last year to close the season out well, but I understand completely why Dombrosky didnt want him.

And thankfully he didnt. :wowjb:

Storen's performance this year makes me agree with that best bullpen pitcher shouldnt end games theories. He has saved the Nats A LOT this year in the 7th and 8th inning.
