Soler was the cubs lowest ranked prospect of their 4 in the top 30 at mid season(cuz of missing time with injuries) the cubs top 2 prospects will be called up next year

There's a difference between taking time to adjust and being unable to identify any pitch coming at you.

Obviously it's too soon to completely write him off...but I'm less confident about him now than I was 3 months ago.

Hid contact rate Is abysmal but when he makes contact it's magical.

Net year if we get horrible contact and settle out at bad contact we can get a .230-240 hitter with a lot of home runs

.230 hitter with a .250 OBP.........not sure how many home runs you'd need to even make that a valuable player
