True, but tonight he pretty much did it right and they just got burned.
I don't know what it's going to take for these dudes to bunt against the shift. Gordon is up, they're down two, and there are THREE infielders on the right side. A bunt to 3rd is a guaranteed single. But he swings away and rolls it to "shortstop".
I don't get it.
Oh yea, tonight was just bad luck, but starting Liam Hendricks again was a mistake, when the Yankees are hitting well against you, you know he's not a good pitcher. That Crow decision was just bad, unfortunately seems like Royals management is going all in with him, if they don't make the playoffs, I don't know when they will.

I'm thankful, because it takes the attention away from us. We weren't as good as them, but we still had no business missing the playoffs after playing so well for so long.What a tragedy that's going on in Oakland.
