It was fine, as it was a L/L matchup. He just can't walk him in that situation, which he did.

Why did he face Cain? By the time he got to Hosmer, he had already give up four runs and it's not like the As dont have good lefties in the bullpen. I don't know, I just can't agree with that call. When a guy is up in his pitch count, I don't like having him pitch with runners on base. It was no surprise they ran wild on him.

Abad is the most underused guy in the game, nothing but great innings in decent leverage situations and Melvin just doesnt use him. he was the most consistent RP all year
