real shyt, i was lurking the betting thread and saw this quote from the homie buddy omar.



as soon as the royals tied that shyt up, i had a flashback from reading this shyt earlier in the day i really don't even follow baseball like that during the season anymore but, i watch the playoff. this was a helluva fukking game! question to baseball purists, who are the favs to win it all this year?

BTW from a purely odds-on perspective, the Nationals and Dodgers are virtually identical as far as the favorites to win the world series

I hate those stats fakkits as much as anybody but people also have to remember that even with a supposedly higher probability of winning, you can still lose. There's so much random shyt that goes on at the end of the day in sports

over a course of one game or a single series, of course.
baseball plays 162 games tho, so it normalizes over the long run. hence why stats in baseball mean a lot. theres just a huge sample size and nearly everything can be quantified
