Evan Gattis is nursing a sore back, so the Braves needed another catcher for hte doubleheader after Gerald Laird started in Game 1. Bethancourt could stick with the team, pushing Gattis to left field and sending B.J. Upton to the bench.

IMO when Chipper started playing left, that was when all of his injuries started. Keep the guy at catcher.
