I was listening to a local radio station and there's fan rumblings wanting to get rid of the guy. If he can add some more power it'd be awesome. I've already accepted that .275 is about his ceiling average wise.

I don't want to get rid of him.

He has a 5.1 WAR which is 4th highest in the majors and he leads everyone on the majors in defensive WAR with a 2.88

Righty Mike Foltynewicz will get his call-up for a relief role with the Astros, reports Jose de Jesus Ortiz of the Houston Chronicle (via Twitter). The 22-year-old with a big fastball currently ranks 65th on MLB.com’s list of the game’s top 100 prospects, with Baseball America ranking him 59th coming into the year. With Foltynewicz, the big question is whether he can develop his secondary offerings to the point that he will stick in a rotation, but Houston will plan to use him in relief this season and give him a chance at earning a starting role in the spring (according to a tweet from MLB.com’s Brian McTaggart).

It was a matter of time. He struggling this year in AAA. but out that pen with a plus fastball he can be have some success.

This replay system is useless when you still have these idiotic umpires making decisions in New York. They missed a call in our game that went in our favor. 1 out, Segura on 1st. Herrera with a weak pop fly that falls between 2B and CF. Segura thought it was gonna be caught, so he was hung up, then had to hurry to 2nd. Wong made an excellent play barehanding the ball and throwing to 2B. Segura ruled safe, he was clearly out, they review it, and keep him safe.

So instead of 2 outs, runner on 1st, pitcher batting, Peralta got to bunt the runners to 2nd and 3rd, Gomez gets hit with first pitch, and Lucroy follows with a bases clearing double. All on Wainwright.

Not that I'm complaining about the result, but the Cardinals have a right to be pissed. We're still batting with Luc on 2nd and Braun/Ramirez coming up with only 1 out.

Edit
: And Braun doubles to short right field, now 7-0. All 7 runs earned, and charged to Wainwright.

bruh. This only my 2nd game at this ballpark, but both times I;ve gotten right field seats and both times I could've caught homeruns. Every park is set up differently but I like to be where the action is.
