7th Edition of this thread, let's go!

I always try to make this to put a spotlight on the most awesome sport nobody knows about, Aussie Rules Football.

This is the Australian Football Rules Grand Final. The #2 seed (West Coast Eagles) vs the #3 seed (Hawthorn Hawks) being played at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.

#1 ranked Fremantle got absolutely destroyed by #3 ranked Hawthorn in the preliminary final. Despite being higher ranked Fremantle was the underdog, as Hawthorn started slowly but won 12 of their last 14 regular season games to end up in 3rd position, widely acknowledged as the best team in the league being back to back Premiers.

Despite Hawthorn being so dominant however, they did lose to the Eagles just 3 weeks ago in the qualifying final, a match where Hawthorn were also the clear favorites. They are the clear favorites in the final again having beaten the Crows and Dockers to get into the Grand Final, but the Eagles have easily beaten the Hawks already and beat the Kangaroos after in the Preliminary Final to get to the Grand Final, so they have all the momentum.

Hawthorn are $1.60 favorites compared to West Coast at $2.50.

Now for an Aussie Rules breakdown:

In the most ignorant description possible this is Aussie Rules Football:

-The mass scrambles of a fumble in football
-The jumpballs of basketball
-The tactics of soccer and rugby
-The movement of soccer
-The field goal kicking/punting of football
-The hitting of hockey/football
-The catching of football
-The scrums of rugby

With about 50 players on the field and things happening all over the place at once, looking random cause of the scrambling going on most of the time when there's a fumble.

THE GRAND FINAL

There's 90,000 people expected to be there.

Tune in, or stream it, it's gonna be a good one :whew:

WHERE TO WATCH:

Fox Soccer Plus in the US, and TSN2 in Canada. (Despite FS1 and FS2 showing NOTHING during that time, it's pathetic tbh)
Kickoff is at 12:30am, but pregame from 11:00pm
